Rachel has been a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal since 2017 and a NALA Certified Paralegal since 2021. Rachel contracted as a project coordinator to manage multiple projects of the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission beginning in 2021. Some of those projects included the statewide Driver's License Restoration and Housing Stability Projects, as well as the launch of the Wake County Legal Support Center. She has contracted for multiple other law firms and businesses since 2023, including the Utah State Bar Access to Justice Commission and Charlotte Legal Initiative to Mobilize Businesses, to assist with the development of case and volunteer management systems, financial processes, and other process improvement.
When Rachel is not working, she enjoys weightlifting, taking road trips and hiking with her husband and sons, climbing at the local rock gym, beach days on Topsail Island or Fort Fisher, and Latin dancing. She loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and enjoys historical dramas and a good book.
