About Royal Touch's Owner, Rachel Royal

Rachel is the owner of Royal Touch Project Solutions, LLC, and a Project Manager for the North Carolina Equal Access to Justice Commission. She received an associate degree in Paralegal Technology from Carteret Community College in 2017, as the Paralegal Technology Student of the Year.

Rachel has been a North Carolina State Bar Certified Paralegal since 2017 and a NALA Certified Paralegal since 2021. Rachel worked in-office in family law, insurance defense litigation, and municipal law before branching out as a full-time freelance paralegal and project manager in 2020. Throughout her legal career, she has volunteered for statewide pro bono projects, has been a volunteer group leader for a Legal Aid project, and has been involved in multiple committees with the Paralegal Division since 2015. She has been a council member and Secretary for the Paralegal Division as well as Pro Bono Co-Chair since 2018.
Rachel has also been a contract project coordinator since 2021, for multiple projects through the North Carolina Pro Bono Resource Center, including the Driver’s License Restoration and Housing Stability Projects, and is currently project manager for the Wake County Legal Support Center. She is completing her undergraduate in Paralegal Studies through Charter Oak State College with an expected graduation date of December 2023.

When Rachel is not working, she enjoys weightlifting, taking road trips and hiking with her husband and sons, climbing at the local rock gym, beach days on Topsail Island or Fort Fisher, and Latin dancing. She loves experimenting with new recipes in the kitchen and enjoys historical dramas and a good book.
